Eugene Terreblanche revived his old antics as he addressed a crowd of maybe 300 onlookers who were more fascinated rather than enthusiastic at the sight of the AWB leader.
http://www.hayibo.com/articles/view/1148/Curious_onlookers_gather_as_ET_emerges_again.htm- Hayibo.com, a comical news website, were provocative to say the least when referring to Terreblanche’s ‘lecture’ in Ventersdorp. The news agency referred to Terreblanche as “amazing the audience with his ability to walk upright and dress himself.” And when asking Terreblanche’s right hand man on the amount of members the group had, they stated “closer to eight than it was to 12” By using sarcasm and being comical the newswire shifts its attention from the negativity caused by the AWB during the years of apartheid and cause the reader to simply express amusement towards the rightwing group. Personally I relate to the style in which this article has been constructed. The same event made the front page of the Mail&Guardian and there focus point was based more on the fact that these should be nervous times and not dismiss the insistent party. Giving the opposition pleasure, will only fuel the fire. Rather turn the country against a once already failed party.
